Grants and Scholarships!

Our Gilroy Foundation Ambassadors have had a busy start to this year.  They have been out visiting 2019 Grant Recipients.  Our Ambassadors were so delighted to be able to see, first hand, what has been accomplished as a result of our Grants Program.  The agencies that received funding were so pleased to show off how their grant money is being used and grateful to our Ambassadors for taking the time to show our continued support of the work they are doing in our community.

Our 2020 Scholarship season is in full force.  Gilroy Foundation is delighted to be able to offer 28 different scholarships to graduating GUSD high school and Gavilan students.  Because many of those 28 scholarships offer multiple awards, we will actually have 79 scholarship winners this year!  The monetary awards range from $250 to $50,000!  Most applications are due on Friday, March 6, but a few are due later in the year.  We wish good luck to all the applicants and are grateful to our Scholarship Selection Committee volunteers for the time it takes to read each application, and the difficult choices they need to make!  Most of all, we are appreciative of our many donors who make these scholarship opportunities possible!
